I began my yoga journey when I was 24 as a young mother who could do pop in a VHS tape while my baby took a quick nap. I simply wanted to be in better shape. I quickly learned there was a lot more to this yoga journey than the simple poses.
Yoga is a way of life. It is about the balance and the movement. It is about how we show up on the mat and in the world. It is about how we breathe in and out while surrendering to the subtle energies of the body, mind, and spirit. I finally decided I was ready to commit to living Yoga. I took the YTT 200 in 2013 and have never looked back.
I continue to build on my practice with what I call the sisters of Yoga: Ashtanga, Ayurveda and the Enneagram. Together the three teachings have given me the tools to find inspiration, mindfulness, and most importantly presence.
My intention is to lead you through an asana practice with your breath that opens your heart to know and feel compassion and a sense of deep Self-Love. I look forward to seeing you on the mat.
